Duplicate permalinks on post and pages

Description

If a page is created with an identical title as a post title, the auto-generated permalink will be identical for both post and page, and (at least in my case) the page will have the priority when the URL (permalink) is opened in browser.

Host configuration when detected:
WordPress version: 6.8.1
PHP version 8.1

PC configuration when detected:
OS: Linux Mint 22.1
Browser: 137.0.7151.55 (Official Build) (64-bit)
