Categories can't be restored after deletion

Description

There is currently no restore option available for post categories. When we delete a post, it goes to the Trash and we have the option to restore it. However, when we delete a category, there is no similar restore option available. Could you please check and consider adding this feature in WordPress 7.0?

Hello and welcome to WordPress Core Trac,
Thank you for opening this ticket.

There is currently no Taxonomy Status metadata associated to taxonomies, so this would be a bigger change than just adding a user interface to manage this workflow. Any proposal for a technical implementation is welcome, but it's definitely not something doable for milestone 7.0 :)
