#64760 new defect (bug)

Site Icon and Site Logo remove button styling inconsistent in Customizer

Severity: normal Version:
Component: Customize Keywords: has-screenshots has-patch has-unit-tests
Focuses: ui, css Cc:

Description

In Customize → Site Identity, the “Remove”, “Change image”, and “Change logo” buttons use the same styling and color.

However, in Settings → General (Site Icon), the “Remove Site Icon” button has updated styling introduced in changeset r61770, with clearer boundaries and distinct visual treatment.

For consistency, the Site Icon and Site Logo buttons in the Customizer should follow the same styling as the updated “Remove Site Icon” button in Settings → General.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Settings → General → Site Icon.
  2. Go to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity.
  3. Compare the button styling.

Expected behavior:

Buttons in the Customizer should match the updated styling from Settings → General.
