    1 If there is any reason to expect a different rule between core's `forms` and `colors` stylesheets, `_admin.scss` could keep the redundant rulesets like in [https://github.com/sabernhardt/wordpress-develop/commit/274d11128583a601e28e520fe7b1348bdc8e502f my fork]. (I could submit that as a pull request to consider for an alternative option.)
