#6506 closed enhancement (invalid)

"Rel" field when adding link

Reported by: fool4christ Owned by:
Milestone: Priority: low
Severity: trivial Version: 2.5
Component: TinyMCE Keywords: tinymce editor links posting semantics
Focuses: Cc:

Description

When using the Visual Editor, the box for adding a link has fields for href, title, and target. With the growing importance of semantics -- as well as a growing number of plugins and things which make use of them -- it'd be nice to have a field for a rel value.

When adding a link use 'Link Relationship (XFN)' in the advanced options to set the 'rel' field.

Woops sorry - wrong sort of links. With regards to the visual editor, I think you may be able to do this with a plugin. I'm not sure it's a field worth presenting to the user by default as most won't know what to do with it.
