Description
In WordPress 7.0, the “Log In” button on the login screen appears slightly taller compared to the previous version (6.9.4). The increased height seems to come from updated padding and line-height values, making the button look visually larger and less balanced within the login form layout.
In WordPress 6.9.4, the button had a more compact appearance that aligned better with the form fields and overall spacing of the login screen.
This ticket proposes adjusting the button styles in WordPress 7.0 by slightly reducing:
Button height
Vertical padding
min-height
to better match the previous version’s visual balance and improve consistency in the login form UI.

The "Admin Reskin" is a pack of bad styling, especially the height of all input elements.
This is so terrible that I am now preparing a package for restyling admin for all my clients.
Please revert at least the increased input height styling.
