Description

If the uploads folder has incorrect permissions, the Organizer page spits out PHP errors: Warning: filetype() [function.filetype]: Lstat failed for .... in

If trying to move (rename) a file to a non-existent folder, Organizer reports "File renamed and all posts are updated successfully", but also Warning: rename(filename.ext,newfolder/filename.ext) [function.rename]: No such file or directory in .../wp-content/plugins/organizer/page/view.php on line 33. Worse, the actual post IS updated with the new (non-existent) location.

  • Milestone set to 2.5.1
  • Severity changed from critical to blocker

Even worse, moving (renaming) a file to correct, existing folder, does move the file, but the link in the post is URL-encoded so uploads/filename.ext gets linked to uploads/newfolder%2Ffilename.ext

There is no error message, nor warning.

My bad. A colleague had installed a new plugin at the same time as the WP update.
