Trackbacks Failing

A few days after upgrading to WP 1.2, both internal and external TrackBacks began failing on my 1.2 install ​http://ijsm.org/. I TB old entries I reference on my site, so I know the internals are failing; Alex King tried to TB an entry of mine ​http://www.alexking.org/blog/2004/06/09/trackback-timestamps/, and that didn't go through, either. Alex would have to speak as to whether he got an error code on the TB; I have no error codes showing up in the ping status.

I tried sending a TB to someone else's site [off server, even], and it crumped as well. I don't know that this is an install-specific issue; I'm willing to look into it if someone can point me to where.

I've tried with 1.2mingus and now the 7/7 nightly build and it doesn't seem to do any SENDING of trackbacks. It receives them just fine... this appears to be a common complaint (judging from the forums)...

Following up that 1.2mingus and 7/7 nightly build does not send trackbacks or pings. I am using all standard templates and custom permalinks...

Try the latest nightly again.

I have find a solution for trackbacks bug that works fine for me. You can view it on my weblog:

I applyed the patch from ​http://iozblog.ionosfera.com/archives/2004/08/29/wordpress_trackback_fix/ and now trackbacks are running perfectly!

Have a copy of the patch to upload into mosquito? That site seems to be borked.

It seems that pingbacks from WP 1.5 to WP 1.2.2 fail due to an array-tag. For details see here:

Error occurs when e.g. wordlog.com is pingbacking me.
