Description
The Save/Publish buttons can be confusing, and often don't clearly communicate the actions that will transpire when they are used. The buttons should be clear. For example, when a post date is set to the future, "Publish" should change to something like "Future Publish" or "Schedule to be Published" to reflect the fact that pressing that button won't immediately publish it (something some people are afraid of).
Also, the dropdown post status box creates some confusing scenarios. What happens if I change the status to "Pending Review" but hit "Publish" ? (Answer: it stays a draft... huh?)
This whole area needs work and needs to be more intuitive.

"Save" should be "Save Draft".
"Schedule to be Published" is a bit long for a button label, I think.
I agree with the general concept of clarifying this. (Is it a defect though? Enhancement, I'd say.)
