weighted category cloud and tag cloud instead of lists to choose categories and tags in the backend

Hi,

choosing categories is still annoying if you have a couple of them. Scrolling and checking is needed. Tags are simpler to work with, but I think it would be extremely handy to use a category cloud / tag cloud to choose the categories/tags for a post/page. The category/tag cloud could be displayed in the metabox or, preferably, for space reasons, in a thickbox.

I used milestone 2.7 as there is so much admin work going on anyway and I'm not sure if the feature list is already definitive for the release.

Come to think of it - why not use a tag cloud as primary interface for tag and category editing as well? Just attached some photoshop mockups of the idea.

I checked the wireframes, thanks. A "popular tags" cloud is only proposed on the tag screen. And it doesn't propose inline editing but loading of the edit page. If possible, I'd at least propose to do a category cloud with a similar functionality as the tag one. But I think from a UI experience point of view inline editing is preferable to the edit screen.
