Date problem in recent comments (dashboard)

I found a problem with the recent comments module the day before yesterday. The date function detected October, the 13. as Yesterday. I saw some comments from the 15. with the label Today (what was right because it was Oct the 15.), then I had some comments labeled with October the 14. And then I had some comments labeled Yesterday (for Oct the 13.), what was wrong.

I have a suggestion to fix this problem. It will also translate the date. I will attach it, and I would like you guys to have a look at this. It works, I now can see the labels Today and Yesterday and they fit the dates. But maybe you will have a much better solution.
