#7909 closed defect (bug) (wontfix)

Classic admin theme should be updated to Fresh theme level if bundled.

Severity: minor Version: 2.7

Current svn status at time of reporting: r9225.

Context: admin themes: fresh vs. classic

The classic admin theme bundled with WP should be updated to match the new admin interface, from a readability standpoint.

Example: text is barely readable in top toolbar and the theme needs an appropriate wp logo color scheme. See attached screenshots.

To be more specific with my example: blue toolbar links do not have enough contrast over the blue toolbar background.

Both color schemes are going to look wretched for the next several days while work is in progress.

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

For now we're going to ignore classic. It will be refreshed after we get fresh nailed down. We need time for the designers to develop a classic palette for the new design anyway.
