#8222 closed defect (bug) (fixed)

QuickPress buttons should be ghosted until content is entered.

Description

Currently you can "Publish" and "save drafts" through QuickPress even when nothing has been entered in the QuickPress box. A helpful "Post saved" or "Post Published." message is then produced to let you know that it's saved your nothing.

I don't think it actually does save anything, but it's not polished. The publish/save buttons should be unavailable (ghosted or not present) until something is typed into the QuickPress title and content boxes.

(In [9785]) Do not show "Post published" message in QuickPress if empty form submitted, fixes #8222

Don't think the Publish and Save buttons should be unavailable if nothing is entered in QuickPress (who is going to publish an empty post unless wanting to see what will happen). The patch stops the Post published/saved message.

Fair point, that does seem more appropriate.
