Description

The radio buttons for size in the image uploader are not selectable. "Full size" shows up as the default, but none of the other options are selectable.

Using WordPress 2.7-beta2-9718 and OS X 10.5. Tested on Firefox 3 and Safari on fresh install of WordPress with default theme and no plugins.

What is your thumbnail size set at? This usually happens when the image is smaller than the setting for a particular size, so for 300x400 image, medium (if set to larger than 400x400) or large size (1024x1024) would not be available.

Upon further inspection, the issue was not caused by a CMYK jpeg or 8bpp.

It was caused by a local installation of WordPress on OS X Leopard computer with aparently does not come with the GD library installed by default. After installing GD, image uploading works properly.

As a side note: all of this failed silently. Shouldn't there be some sort of notificication that this won't work without the GD library? I feel like most people would have absolutely no idea this was the problem (or what to do about that).
