Simple Editor Textarea Resize

This could be a defect, not 100% sure though... Anyway, why can we not resize the the simple HTML editor textarea like we can the advanced TinyMCE editor textarea? It seems obvious but it's not possible.

I agree that this would be a nice feature to have available as well. I'd be willing to bet that functionality is part of the TinyMCE editor and not WordPress itself.

the resizing of TinyMCE is indeed a tinyMCE functionality.

the resizing of TinyMCE is indeed a tinyMCE functionality.

And it will be carried over to the HTML editor when switching.
