Description
Currently if you have a page full of comments, some of which are approved and some aren't, there's no easy way to distinguish between the two. *
It'd be nice if the pending comments were visually distinguished from the approved comments, without having to hover over them.
- Yes, I accept that I could go to the "Pending" view....

Ahh ok. I'm not seeing that at all. It's all white here.
I don't think it's my screen, but I'll stick an image up.

It does look like that but this is a stock install, no plugins.
I see what you mean about the colours because the dashboard comments widget is showing the yellow banding. It just doesn't look as though it is applied to edit-comments.php

That's strange. The second screenshot is from the Edit Comments page on stock install too. It also shows the css class and style for the background color (in Firebug).

- Summary changed from Distinguish between approved / unapproved comments in All Comments list to Distinguish between approved / unapproved comments in All Comments list for IE7
- Type changed from enhancement to defect (bug)
Ahah.
Looks like it's an IE7 issue. If I load the page in Opera I can see the banding.
I don't have other IEs to check with.

- Milestone changed from 2.8 to 2.7.1
- Resolution fixed deleted
- Status changed from closed to reopened
Reopen for 2.7
There's yellow background on all pending comments, about the same shade as on the ticket above. Perhaps we can make it a bit stronger if it's too pale for some screens.
