Post-new new category option open, no publish allowed

On new post, select to add new category, all works fine there. If you click the new category link again to close it after adding one, you cannot publish or save draft until you open that new category text box again.

This is on WP 2.7.1 as obtained through the automatic update from WP 2.7.
