  • Component changed from General to Upgrade
  • Keywords reporter-feedback added; category removed
  • Milestone changed from 2.7.2 to Unassigned
  • Owner anonymous deleted
  • Priority changed from high to normal

Which version did you upgrade from?

Looking at your site, You have the Categories still, ie: http://www.e-bookreaders.biz/category/news/ - Did you recreate them, or.. did they transfer across as expected(and would mean this ticket is invalid)?

The "No Categories" in the menu looks to be old Theme coding which needs to be updated for the latest version of WordPress.

I've seen this happen several times when someone upgraded from a pre-taxonomy version and skipped several versions at once. There's probably something in the upgrade schema that doesn't work correctly when upgrades aren't stepwise.

I had seen this quite a few times as well, but can't think of a single case since... WP 2.6 maybe. possibly even WP 2.5. Suggesting fixed or worksforme.
