Password-Mail to all users

Description

when importing existing users into a new project (in my case an attendee-list of about 300people), they don´t know their password. Due to an older ticket there was added an option (by Denise Bernard?) to mail the password to a single user. (Thanks for adding that) With some hundreds this is a real problem.

Option A) In the user-List a button to "send password", which shouldn´t be too hard since it is already here, but not in the list.
Option B) An automated function that sends mail to the user. I want to consider that this can get a problem with some hosters thinking you´re sending spam.

thanks!

I don't see many people needing to do this, and if they do, it would only happen once. Proposing wontfix as plugin material. There is a plugin that did this - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bulk-password-reset/ - hasn't bee updated in a while though.

  • Resolution set to wontfix

You can use the above-mentioned plugin for this purpose. Agreeing with wontfix resolution.
