#8241 closed enhancement (fixed)

Dashboard comment counts don't update in some cases

Description

It seems that the spam and pending comment counts in the Dashboard are the only ones that update automatically. A manual refresh is needed to get the other counts to update, whether I quick replied to, deleted or approved/unapproved a comment.

  • Milestone changed from 2.7 to 2.8
  • Type changed from defect to enhancement

Yes on both the dashboard and the comments screen approving, unapproved and setting a comment as spam changes the counters dynamically. Deleting any of these types of comments would also change the counters.

This was broken recently and has been restored to work as in 2.6.
