1.5.1 does not post pingbacks sent from 1.5 blogs

Description
Just what it says: 1.5.1 does not post pingbacks which come from 1.5 sites. It will post pingbacks that come from 1.5.1 sites, and 1.2.2 sites, but not 1.5 sites.
This was duplicated by a single site (IP Address) which has three test blogs: 1.2.2, 1.5 and 1.5.1-2005-04-24, all sending pings to another site (another IP address) running 1.5.1-2005-04-24.
The xmlrpc.log for each on the receiving end indicates nothing untoward; in all three cases the output looks OK. However, with the pingback sent from the 1.5 blog never appears on the site; the other two do appear.

MC_incubus tells me his 1.5 blog wasn't able to post a PB here due to some fatal error when my WP tried to read his blog entry. He re-uploaded WP and solved the problem. This might be written off as user error, but there's a lot of users, and I'm missing a lot of pingbacks from 1.5 blogs.
