Description

I noticed that there is only one layout for pages in Twenty Seventeen theme. Not even a single template is available in this theme.

What if user want to show page with sidebar?

So I think we should add two column template into this theme, in which 1st column will contain content and the other one will contain sidebar.

Hey @bhargavbhandari90! Thanks for the feature request.

I can understand wanting a sidebar on pages. But Twenty Seventeen was built for businesses, and many of them don't want or need a sidebar on pages. Plus, the sidebar vs. one or two column layout (option in Customizer) is already tough for many to understand, so it's better to keep things simpler.

This isn't a feature I'd want to see added to Twenty Seventeen.

It's a perfect situation for a child theme though. That's what I'd suggest you do, and you have all the code needed for it. :)
