updates to 5.1

When I updated to 5.1 it showed me a welcome screen saying welcom to 5.0.3. And again the update request notification was shown. When I clicked that it took me to database update and I need. Even after that the version detected by wordfence was 5.0.3. I did a reinstall and then it showed me the real 5.1 welcome message. Is this a bug?

Hiya, and welcome to WordPress trac!

This doesn't sound like a bug, but rather something that can occur during updates when caches aren't cleared properly, or in time (when a lot of sites on a host are updating at the same time, things may need a minute to catch up).

Some times your host will have a button to manually clear caches in their control panels, or they may even have included it in your WordPress install somewhere.

If you should find anything to indicate that this isn't the case, please do let us know though!

ok thanks for the update, well I don't know what actually it was and am not that tech savvy, but the good thing is that its on. Thanks for your explanation.
