Error message when uploading video

Description

Uploading .MP4 video file to the media library and receiving an error message.
File does not show up in the media library.
File is 406 MG.
Limit for upload shows as 1GB.

Please use simple language when answering. No experience in coding. Minimal experience in building websites.

Hi, @heavenberg. Sorry to hear about your trouble. It sounds like a possible problem with your server.

Does this happen with every video, or just this one?
Can you open the JavaScript console in your browser and see if there are any more error messages?

If you need more assistance, it might be best to open a support request in the ​WordPress support forums .

Thank you for reporting this, unfortuantely until we get more details we are stuck a little on progressing this. Until that happens I am going to close this ticket for now. That doesn't mean we can't reopen once we get more information if you are still experiencing this issue. My hope is due to the amount of time that has passed that is no longer the case.
