Description

The bundled local development environment is quite new, so its docs aren't very mature. This ticket is for tracking various improvements to those docs.

Patches welcome for further improvements to any of the docs or other user-facing information relating to the local development environment.

This readme file is shown as the welcome page on ​the GitHub mirror, therefore:

  • Should we expand the intro to provide more info about the project or is it okay to direct users to the handbook for that?
  • Is there any other technical information that would be useful to include or reference?
