Video not playing

Hi,
i used wp for more years. i use to paste direct video link on my post visual editor. like ​http://mysite.com/file.mp4 then its make the link into video player. since last core update i updated, its not working anymore. i check updates log but found nothing related to embed or video direct link into player. so this might be a bug. i googled for few hours with this topic

Welcome to WordPress Trac! In my personal experience, I think there's a high probability there might have been some changes in your server that cause this issue. I would try the following.

1. Make sure that the video is physically exists in your server and the URL matches the path.
2. Check your .htaccess and see if there's something there that's blocking access to *.mp4 files.
3. Lastly, I would contact my hosting provider regarding this issue.

   3. Lastly, I would contact my hosting provider regarding this issue. but i owned both vps and dedicated server where the file and the website is hosted. so the problem is in new wordpress update i guess.
