Adding Filters in UI (Plugins)

Description

Problem:
Searching for any particular plugins shows the related plugins based on the keywords, out of which some old and unmaintained plugins also appear in the results which might be a vulnerability issue for their users.

Possible Solution:
Adding Filters to categorize the results for searchers query:

  1. Latest to Oldest
  2. Oldest to Latest
  3. Most Downloads
  4. Least Downloads
  5. Highest Rated
  6. Lowest Rated

Exception:
Adding the filters, rather than completely changing the way the results appear (such as: showing the most updated results first, etc) would be more useful, and it would be more fair for all publishers/plugin-maintainers.

Possible Improvements:
Reducing the risk of downloading incompatible old, untrusted, unmaintained plugins leading to vulnerability or other risks in website (business :D).

This will be indeed a great addition to enhance the experience of plugin searching and finding the right plugin for a website. A small filter icon beside the search bar can do this job nicely. When clicked on the filter icon the options will appear. Here is a sample UI I have made: https://ibb.co/m6PsQqh
