Description

Good morning,

I'm Sherazade an admin of this website www.amicale-malraux.com , working with the webmaster.
The purpose of our website is to propose afterschool activities for our children's school. We propose 31 activities per term, so 1 week of registrations every term.

This evening at 8pm, we will launch the registration for activities, so we will have around 500 connections or more at the same time. Every parent wanted to secure their children's activities might open several devices to maximise their chance to secure a spot.

So last year we had a peak and the website crashed (september 2022), you WordPress took down the website for security. Anything you can do to avoid it to happen again this evening ?

Best regards.

Sherazade

Hi @sherazad, welcome to Trac!

WordPress.org is the website of the WordPress software project, rather than a website hosting company. You may mean WordPress.com, or you may need to verify who is your current hosting company.

As Trac is for the development of the WordPress core software and this ticket is a hosting-related query, I'll close this ticket as invalid. Your question is indeed valid, it's just that we are unable to answer it here on Trac.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
