Description
Hi,
When trying to update plugins via the plugins page using the async method, the installation fails mostly for premium plugins but also for some plugins in the WP repository. This has happened for me across multiple servers running on multiple platforms. The error being shown mostly is "Installation package not found". I have noticed this error since v6.5 consistently.
I believe a bug was introduced in this system at some point which has rendered it unstable.

Can you install the Test Reports plugin and provide some more information? Also which plugins are unable to update?
