Description
Today, I used the integrated plug-in search feature in WordPress to look for two plug-ins. As an example, I will use 'Elementor.' When you type 'Elementor' into the search field, you only find the plug-in on page 5. This is the case with other plug-ins as well. It can be quite frustrating when you enter the exact name of a plug-in and then have to sift through 100 results before you find it. This was not the case before.
Cheers Chris

Hi Chris, it's been a while. Just revisiting this ticket, and retested this issue using a local site using WordPress 6.5, no other plugins installed, and using the default theme (Twenty Twenty-Four).
I tested two scenarios where I use the default plugin search bar, both in Italian and German. Searched for 'Elementor'. Here are the results:
Elementor is showing on the Page 1 not on the Page 5.
Italian
Elementor is showing on the Page 1 not on the Page 5.
I can't really replicate the issue, and everything seems to be working fine.
@chris1407 Chris1407, I tried reproducing the issue using WordPress 6.5 and 6.5.3, no other plugins activated, and using the Twenty Twenty Four theme, but this seems to be working well for me.

Have you tried disabling any other third-party plugin or switching to the default theme to test if something is affecting the search feature, like a conflict?
