Description

3.2.1 has just been released along with an updated to TwentyEleven.

The admin bar shows 1 update is available - to the theme.

The Dashboard -> Updates area shows 2 updates are available - the theme and WordPress.

There is also the yellow 'nag' area about the new version of WordPress.

Should this be more consistent?

Related and hopefully fixed by patch on #17694.

Replying to duck_:

Related and hopefully fixed by patch on #17694.

In fact my comment on that ticket reveals that it probably will not be fixed by the patch; get_core_updates() is not available on the front end.

  • Resolution changed from duplicate to maybelater

Maybe we can improve this someday.
