Description
Since upgrading, one of my Wordpress installs index files is periodically renamed to index.php.disabled. Host claims they are not doing it. Renaming the file is a partial fix - until the next time the file is mysteriously renamed. Wondering if this is a bug?
Found one post on the forums - no permanent fix posted: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/333925?replies=3
Site affected: stormeyes.org/wp

I don't think this is a WordPress issue, as there is no code in WordPress which would rename this.
Could it possibly be a virus scanner?
