Hi @fciotola, embedding by using raw HTML (<object> or <embed> tags) is restricted for users that do not have the unfiltered_html capability as it is a security concern.

However all users are allowed to use the [embed] shortcode or just paste an URL on a separate line to embed content from oEmbed providers like YouTube and Facebook (the support for Facebook was just updated in trunk, will be in 4.4 that should be out in several days).

Minor side note, Facebook won't be in 4.4, see discussion on #34737.
