Description

Hi There,

I found a bug in permalink, first I thought it is related to my theme but when I tested it with default "Twenty Sixteen" theme I found it is a bug from WordPress.

This bug appears when a user set his permalink on post name and as you know many websites put permalink on post name according to SEO rules. I found it when I created a page and a post with same title.

For example, you can simply test it by creating a page titled "how to work with menu" and also create a post with same title I mean "how to work with menu". Inside the content, make a sign to find which one is page and which one is post. Then try to enter the post, you’ll find that you will redirect to the page because of its priority or anything else.

I noticed the bug when I put the post in a menu and clicked on it and found that I am the redirected to a page which has same title with the post.

The solution of this bug is quite easy, behind the slug it must defined that it is a post or a page :)

Sincerely Yours

Sina Shamsizadeh
