Description
Hello,
One common issue many WordPress users have pointed out is the absence of pinch-to-zoom functionality within the Gutenberg core lightbox on mobile devices. This limitation negatively impacts the mobile user experience, making it less intuitive and convenient.
As someone interested in helping WordPress users by answering their questions, I’ve noticed this is a frequent concern among the community.
If possible, adding this feature could significantly improve the mobile usability of the Gutenberg editor.
Thank you for your attention and efforts to improve WordPress.

@tohidlo This belongs to the Gutenberg plugin specifically. Tickets for Gutenberg must be opened here
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues
And if possible, add some step-by-step instructions to reproduce this. Once you have done this, it will be great if you post here with the ID for the issue opened in GitHub.
I will mark this as a close candidate for reported-upstream for when @tohidlo reports it there.
Hi @tohidlo, thank you for the ticket!
If this feature is still absent in Gutenberg, it should be reported upstream. If it is in progress, we should link tickets and check its progress. What I have found about pinch-to-zoom so far: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/58705
But it needs a bit more investigation. I am adding 2nd-opinion as the closest option to what we need.
