Description

If a custom taxonomy is created for a page, The page edit section does not have a meta box created for it, Nor is a link to edit the taxonomy terms listed in the menu.

(The same could possibly be said for Links and Attachments)

Odd. I've a plugin that adds such a taxonomy, and I didn't want the meta box that WP was insisting to add. I ended up needing to set the label to false in order to disable the pesky meta box.

Does WordPress support the _* syntax for taxonomies?

Ie, metadata, if its prefixed with _ its not shown, could something similar be done for posts/pages/attachments then?

I'm probably going to get this rolling to be patched up in 2.9 properly..
