Text not visible in Edit mode

Description
I downloaded 3.9 yesterday and since then I can't see any of my text or even get a cursor in edit mode. My site is not live yet, but I have screen shots. I can see the text in the preview mode. I have deactivated all my plugins to test and even the theme. I can't toggle between the visual or text mode either.

This appears to be an issue with a plugin. You may want to contact the plugin developer.

Hello Julie! Thank you for the report.
As mentioned in comment 3, your screenshots still have a plugin activated. You should see if you still have an issue with all plugins deactivated. Specially, there are no "text modules" in WordPress.
I recommend trying the support forums for help with this issue.
