Version 4.0.28 includes several more fixes for pasting and a fix for the small regression in 4.0.26 (see #28353) among other. Changelog: ​https://github.com/tinymce/tinymce/blob/master/changelog.txt

Another improvement is the showing of image dimensions while resizing, similar to how Firefox natively shows them. This was added right after 4.0.28 was released in: ​https://github.com/tinymce/tinymce/commit/43fff5b45344e0101d7d75d8e3c01e9758f0d20f.

No point to update to an "interim" version. WordPress 4.0 includes TinyMCE 4.1+ and will be out soon.
