Improve Plugin Search Functionality

Description

Currently, searching for a Plugin via the WP Admin, to add a new plugin, is not up to scratch.

For example, if you search "Breadcrumb Nav XT" you won't get any results.

However, if you search "Breadcrumb NavXT" you will get the plugin you were looking for.

Can we see some improvements made to this, so it is easier for users to find related plugins similar to what they're searching, rather than exactly?

Pros:

  • Easier to find a desired plugin
  • More plugins are returned in the results, shows off more of what is possible with WordPress

Cons:

  • None

This probably needs to be a meta ticket since it's pinging the API (I believe).
