Description
Hi, it's some time (~2 versions back?) I noticed this random behavior: clicking top link in backend left sidebar does nothing. I am waiting for admin screen change, but it does nothing, and its tab is not showing "Loading" activity. Click is ignored. When noticed and clicking link again, it works.
Today I found a "pattern" - I am using latest Chrome (52), and this exact problem happens when clicking link with sub-menu (as Posts, Pages, ...) really fast, before sub-menu appearance. If I click parent link after sub-menu poping up, it works as intended. Links without sub-menu (Comments,...) are OK.
Other browsers are probably OK (tried Firefox), incognito Chrome has this problem too (so it's not caused by some extension).

Hi, @adamsilverstein, here is the screencast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auG8-h4F61Y ... it's the latest WP, without any plugin, and twentyfifteen theme.
I suppose its not WP core bug, because how could I be the only one affected ... there are other fast-clicking WP power-users. But I really can't tell what is going on.

@adamsilverstein Ha, I didn't notice there is a new version (53) of Chrome, but updating it did not change this behavior. I have Windows 10 Pro OS.
Today I will have another PC with Win10, and will check it.

Hi @mklusak,
I know that it has been some time since this issue was reported, but I am also unable to reproduce this.
I am going to close this out. But if you are still seeing this behavior, please reopen with more details.
Hi @mklusak, thanks for the bug report.
I am unable to reproduce here, every time i click the menu links they work.
Can you try disabling all plugins and activating the default (twentysixteen) theme to see if the issue persists? If so, can you please upload a screencast showing the issue, ideally with a tool that shows your clicks.
