proposal for WordPress core:
i’d like to get concrete info about before installing an theme - update, but there’s nothing never written about - but only in the theme settings.
so i think it may be ’n easy trick so spread this there placed information at the dashboard theme-update-information too?

Thanks for the ticket, we're already tracking this enhancement in #22810.
If I misunderstood and it's not about theme changelogs, feel free to reopen.
Do you mean a "View version details" link to the theme changelog before updating a theme, like for plugins?
Probably a good idea, but first wordpress.org/themes should show it in a tab.
