Apply a category to multiple items at once

Unable to select items and categorize them all into one item category at a time.

Having the opportunity to finish articles is all in one category

Is your suggestion here to add the ability to filter the list by more than one category at a time?
Or to be able to assign selected posts to more than one category at a time?

This is to be able to select several articles to assign the same category of article at once.

This can already be accomplished using the bulk edit feature. You can see how it works in the gif below.
