Description

I would like to request that WordPress add native support for the Persian (Jalali) calendar in the core. Currently, users who wish to use WordPress with the Persian calendar need to rely on third-party plugins, custom code, or manual modifications to handle the conversion from the Gregorian calendar to the Persian calendar

I am keen on working on this feature and contributing to the WordPress project by integrating the Persian calendar support directly into WordPress core. However, I am not entirely sure about the process or where to begin to get started with this contribution
