​MariaDB 10.5 will reach end of life on 24 June 2025.

To ensure WordPress is recommending a supported version of the software, the recommended version should be updated to 10.6 or greater, which is the next oldest still supported LTS version.

In 60319:

Site Health: Bump the recommended version of MariaDB to 10.6.

Version 10.5 of MariaDB will reach end of life on 24 June 2025.

MariaDB 10.6 is the next oldest LTS version still receiving support upstream and is now the recommended minimum version.
