Description

Hi,

I found a general bug on http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

On the theme page there is a link to theme author profile.
When user name (author name) is the name of the domain, i.e. example.com
then link to the user profile on wordpress theme page looks like
http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/profile/example.com while should be
http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/profile/examplecom as the dot is not allowed to be in the url. It couses error 404 page right now, so hope it can be fixed soon.

Greetings

  • Component changed from Users to WordPress.org site
  • Milestone changed from Awaiting Review to WordPress.org

Do you have an example where it happens?

Sorry for delay. Yes, but there can be more examples I suppose and more can happen as it's possible to register user with domainname as username.

I also discovered that http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/profile/handla-onlineorg works fine and such link is provided in other places, so seems like dot was not removed from the url there. Will it be corrected?

With regards

Fixed this a while back, I think. Anyway, it's not there now.
